Rylei turned ONE and had some photos taken for her special day! She wasn't too sure about being in front of the camera but we came away with some cute photos.

This past week has been crazy busy and without internet for a couple days I'm slightly behind on posting sneak peeks. This past weekend one of my shoots was for a high school senior Ian. He brought along his djembe drum and also runs track. Ian's dad is a designer, super creative, AND is great with directing shots. So, I'll admit I was a little nervous going into this shoot. We went to Coffee Ethic, down by the railroad and then ended at the track. Ian did great in front of the camera and I think we came away with some fabulous photos!

This weekend I did an engagement session with James and Kelsey. You always know the couple is going to be fun when the both of them show up with with shoes that shout TAKE MY PHOTO. We started off downtown at the Springfield Brew Co. and then ended up taking a drive in the country for the last part of the session. There were some fences, a creek and a barn. In between traffic we raced out to the middle of the road to dance. They were even brave enough to lay in the road for a couple quick shots! Kelsey and James were adorable together and a gorgeous couple! Congrats on your engagement and look forward to working with you at your wedding!

Ryan is 9 months old and has the biggest brown eyes I've ever seen. He is so adorable and with his little wool coat on looks like he walked out of a Gap commercial. Check out those eyes and that last picture is just precious!!
